P90X Transformation

*Day 90 Result Pics On The Next Pages!*

As many of you know, I started my P90X journey a little over 3 months ago. P90X is a workout program that lasts 90 days and consists of all sorts of resistance, cardio, and balance routines. This includes a healthy diet, eating every 3 or 4 hours during the day, and not missing any workouts. Each workout is about an hour a day (except for Yoga, which lasts 90 minutes) and there is the supplemental AB RIPPER X workout that I do 3 or 4 times a week.

All you need are some dumbbells of varying weight, a chin up bar, or some resistance bands as a substitute. I took a multivitamin and also used Soy Protein or Plant Protein (Hemp, Chia Seed, Pea, Rice) as supplements.

I had NO previous training and had never worked out a day in my life before this. I ordered the program after I decided I needed a change in life. I needed to focus. I was getting bored. I feel like I have some of the greatest will power out of anyone I know, so why didn’t I ever apply it to fitness? Well, I proved to myself I could do it, and the results show my hard work. Thanks to my buddy Tim North for all of the diet/training help, my band for all of their support while I did this on tour, Tony Horton for being an incredible trainer, and Henry Rollins for the inspiration. Here are some stats, and before/after pictures are on the next posts!

Starting weight: 197.5

Ending weight: 182 (lost LOTS of body fat)

Starting # of Pull-ups in Legs/Back workout: 5 (used a chair to help with the rest)

Ending # of Pull-ups in Legs/Back workout: 81

Starting # of Push-ups (varying styles, proper form) in Chest/Back workout: 48

Ending # of Push-ups (varying styles, proper form) in Chest/Back workout: 128

In addition to this, I can run faster, jump higher, and I’m probably twice as flexible as I used to be. If you need any help getting started with P90X, or any other exercise/nutrition, I’d be glad to help! For better answers, head over to www.beachbody.com.

Oh, and did I mention I’m vegan? No meat, no dairy, no animal products whatsoever have been in my body in over 6 years. Yep, this vegan kid can do 18 chin ups in a row. BRING IT.

Thanks guys,
